', will be playing the titular role in the popular Kannada daily soap 'Sevathi'.
She will replace actress
Pallavi Gowda, who left the show due to some personal reasons. Meghana made her television debut with a popular Kannada daily soap 'Aragini' and portrayed the lead role in the show.
On the other hand, Pallavi Gowda called it a quit from Sevanthi recently. The actress recently mentioned that she is keen on taking up her career in the film industry.
Previously, Veteran actress Bharti Vishnuvardhan, who was playing a prominent role also left the show. She was replaced by actress Ashalatha.
The television show 'Sevanthi' is quite popular among the viewers. The storyline revolves around an orphan girl, who wants to have a loving family but destiny has its own plans.
Though the serial is said to be a remake of a popular Tamil daily soap 'Roja', it has created a lot of buzz among the audience for its interesting storytelling. The show has a strong cast.
The show features Shishir Shastry playing the male lead. It also has Manjunath Bhat, Hamsa, Mico Shivu, Krishna Adiga and Sangeetha in supporting roles while Vinod is directing the show.
