. The actress announced her exit from the show by sharing a video on her official Instagram handle. However, she has refrained from revealing the actual reason behind her exit from the daily soap even in the video. Neither the makers nor the channel airing the show has also not mentioned the actual reason behind Swathi's exit from Gattimela.


Swathi called it quits from the daily soap mid-way. She was seen playing a pivotal character of Suhasini in the daily soap. Interestingly, Swathi was the third actress to step into the shoes of Suhasini's character after Ruthu and Archana. For nearly a year, Swathi enjoyed portraying the character of Suhasini.
On the other hand, rumors are rife that ace actress Archana has been roped in to play the character of Suhasini again. Archana has earlier essayed the same character in the show before Swathi.
Meanwhile, Swathi is currently seen playing a key role in the newly launched show 'Kanyakumari. On the career front, Swathi won the title of 'Miss Karnataka' in 2009 and is known as one of the glam dolls in the industry.
Having acted in some Kannada films, the actress shot to fame with her on-screen character 'Mandodari' in the popular daily soap 'Putta Gowri Madve' which is now renamed as 'Mangala Gowri Madve'. Swathi was also seen playing lead roles in the daily soaps like '
