Dance Karnataka Dance season 5 to premiere soon; details inside

The much-awaited dance reality show 'Dance Karnataka Dance' is set to be back on Kannada TV with its fifth season. The dance reality show will premiere soon on a leading Kannada general entertainment channel.

The channel airing the reality show has confirmed the same by releasing the first promo of the upcoming season.

Just like the previous season, the upcoming season of Dance Karnataka Dance (DKD) will also feature dance enthusiasts who are specially handpicked by the makers through auditions across the state. The show serves as a platform for emerging dancers to showcase their dancing prowess.

An add on to the upcoming season is that the reality show is set to welcome dancers across the globe post the audition process. The makers revealed the same during the finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa lil champs finale. This will be the very first time on Kannada TV where a reality show is likely to welcome dance enthusiasts across the globe as contestants.

Contestants under the age of 60 years and who are well-versed in all forms of dance are being selected. They will perform on stage in front of judges and will be advanced for further rounds based on voting and marks they get from the judges.

Dance Karnataka Dance season 5 will be aired in the same time slot in which the recently concluded season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa used to be aired. The show will be hosted by Anushree and will have Dr. Shivrajkumar, Rakshitha Prem, Chinni Prakash, and Arjun Janya as the judges.
