From new reality shows to daily soaps and some major comebacks of the celebs, the Kannada television industry is all set to witness some promising entertainment ahead. Here is a quick glimpse of major shows and comebacks to expect in 2022.

Kannada television's biggest reality show Bigg Boss Kannada season 9, which was due to premiere during the third quarter of 2021 is most likely to be launched at the beginning of 2022. The makers are reportedly prepping for the upcoming season.

Just like the previous season, Abhinaya Chakravarthi of Kannada film industry Kiccha Sudeep will return to the small screen to host Bigg Boss Kannada season 9. The Pailwan actor has been associated with the controversial show from the first season.

The much-awaited dance reality show Dance Karnataka Dance is set to be back on Kannada TV with its new season. The show serves as the best platform for emerging dancers to showcase their dancing prowess. Just like the previous season, the upcoming season will also welcome dance enthusiasts of various age groups.

The fourth season of Drama Juniors is all set to premiere during the first quarter of 2022. Auditions for the upcoming season are in full swing across the state. Drama Juniors serves as a perfect platform for children around the age of 4 to 14 to present their acting skills.

Kannada film actor Golden star Ganesh is all set to make his TV comeback after two years. The actor will be hosting a new game show 'Golden Gang', which is all about friendship and bonding between buddies who are celebs. Ganesh was last seen on Kannada TV with the reality show 'Super Minute', which went off-air in 2019.

Kannada film star Vijay Raghavendra is all set to judge a new reality show 'Dancing Champion'. This is not the first time the actor will be judging a dance reality show. Vijay Raghavendra is known for his association with Kannada television's favorite dance reality show 'Dance Karnataka Dance' for many years now.

Besides Vijay Raghavendra, dancer-choreographer, Mayuri Upadhya is likely to judge the new show Dancing champion. Although rumors are rife about Mayuri's presence in the show, a clear confirmation from the latter or the makers is yet to be awaited.
