From Divya Uruduga to Rakesh Adiga: Bigg Boss Kannada 9 contestants open up about their tough times

Besides all the tasks and activities, Bigg Boss Kannada gave the contestants a chance to discuss the tragic moments of their life. The contestants gathered around the tree in garden area and opened up about the toughest times of their lives so far. From Divya Uruduga sharing the valuable lesson she learnt from the loss of her dearest uncle to Rakesh Adiga opening up about the ups and down in his career, the contestants spoke about it all. The senior contestant, who is also the most pampered kid in her family, opened up about the loss of her dearest uncle when she was inside the Bigg Boss Kannada house during the season 8 of the reality show. Divya mentioned that she got to know the loss of her beloved uncle only after she returned from the Bigg Boss house when the reality show ended abruptly mid-way due to covid 19 cases across the state the previous year. Having mentioned that, Divya averred that she regrets not being with her uncle during his last breath. She only wished to give him a hug for one last time. She took a stroll down memory lane and remembered how her family members got along to celebrate her participation in Bigg Boss Kannada season 8 the previous year. With this, Divya Uruduga mentioned that she has learned to cherish every single moment with her loved ones.

Talking about his initial days of his career, Rupesh narrated an incident when he was beaten by his neighbours in the housing complex he resided in. Elaborating on his struggling days, the former mentioned that he once tried to pick pocket Rs 100 from one of the police constables who was residing in the same complex. The constable caught Rupesh Rajanna red-handed and eventually asked him to write an apology note for the same. However, little did Rupesh know that he was getting into trouble by writing the apology letter. Considering the apology letter, Rupesh Rajanna then continued to say that he was further beaten by a group of people from his colony who knew about the incident. Further, the former mentioned that he was even ousted from the colony by his neighbours at mid-night and had to sleep in the nearby bus stand as he had no place to go.

Rakesh also opened up about the initial days of his career and mentioned about his struggles. Having composed the very first rap song in Kannada, Rakesh averred that he was nearing financial crisis as his rap song did not really get recognised in the beginning. Having said that, he mentioned that he got the biggest turnover in his career after an interview in a regional news channel was aired. He mentioned that it was an overnight fame he had earned post the interview as many started to recognise him and his music. After the success of his rap song, Rakesh went on to make his acting debut with the movie Joshh where he landed the lead role. With Joshh giving him recognition as an actor and the biggest break in his career, Rakesh mentioned that he found it really very tough to handle the fame which brought in a lot of imbalance in his career.

The actress, who is often known as the 'Sherni' of Bigg Boss Kannada 9, opened up about how she struggled to balance the economic crisis during her elder brother's wedding. Although she managed to make a grand wedding celebration to her elder brother, her happiness was short-lived as the brother-sister duo started having differences of opinion. Deepika mentioned that her brother even left the house along with his wife the very particular day they had an argument. Considering the incident, Deepika got emotional as she remembered that moment.

The multi-talented artist spoke about the happiness he finds in the simple things he experiences in his lifetime. Having seen the hardships of life, Arun Sagar averred that life is not about leading a luxurious life but learning to lead a simple life with loved ones and making memories.

Amulya mentioned that she has never seen the hardships in her life so far. In fact, the actress mentioned that surviving the 'Life in the jungle' task inside the Bigg Boss house has been the toughest times in her life currently. However, she did open up about an incident in her personal life and mentioned that one of the toughest situations in her life so far was when her beloved mother was diagnosed with Kidney failure. Amulya mentioned that every day she spent with her mother during her final days has been memorable.

The RJ-actor spoke about the ups and downs in his career. From being criticised for his movies and facing a major financial crisis, Roopesh revealed that he has seen the harsh side of life which has taught him to stay strong and face any tough situation. Having sufered financial losses due to a movie, Roopesh mentioned that he started hosting events for limited remuneration as well to meet his daily needs. However, he mentioned he got the biggest break in his career with a Tulu language movie which he had directed by himself. He mentioned that the movie went on to air in theatres for nearly 200 days.
