From schooling Nidhi Subbiah to warning Shamanth Gowda for avoiding mic: Here's how host Kiccha Sudeep addressed the issues in the week

The second week of Bigg Boss Kannada season 8 was quite eventful. From the contestants engaging in an aggressive fight during the task to some misunderstandings and emotional moments, the week had it all. However, after a week-long roller coaster ride, host Kiccha Sudeep discussed all the interesting developments inside the Bigg Boss house. While he spared no topic, here is how the host addressed all the issues in the week.

Digital sensation Raghu Gowda aka Raghu Vinestore has often mentioned about quitting the reality show mid-way as he was feeling low. Sudeep confronted Raghu about the same and gave him an option of walking out of the show immediately. He asked Raghu to either stay or quit the show. Respecting Sudeep's word, Raghu Gowda averred that he is ready to continue his stay in the BB house and further pledged to give his best and make a proud exit. Impressed by Raghu's determination, Sudeep mentioned that it would be Raghu's last chance to prove himself.

While interacting with the contestants during a fun segment in the latest Vaarada Kathe Kicchana Jothe episode, the host was indeed dazzled by the feedback given by the housemates regarding Manju Pavagad's performance. Speaking about Manju's growing rapport with the female co-contestants, Kichha remarked, "You are a hot topic man"

Discussing the ups and downs of the contestants during the week, Kiccha Sudeep asked the contestants to be at their competitive best throughout the season. Adding to it, the host also asked them to utilise the opportunity of being in the show to the fullest to entertain the viewers. Having said that, Sudeep hailed viewers and mentioned, "Either the viewers vote or not to the contestants, they have always shown their love towards the reality show every season. We are responsible to keep up the same spirit." (sic)

In one of the latest episodes, actress Nidhi Subbiah made allegations against the opponent team for being aggressive during the 'Lockdown' task. With regards to the same, Sudeep took the issue into his hands and ensured Nidhi by saying, "Bigg Boss will always interfere when there is any wrongdoing by the contestants inside the Bigg Boss house (sic)"

The termination of the 'Lockdown' task led to a lot of commotion inside the BB house. Equations among the housemates started getting complicated as they blamed each other for not playing fair in the task. However, Kiccha put an end to all the assumptions by the housemates as he discussed it. Sudeep made it clear that the decision was taken considering the performance of all the contestants during the task and not an individual.

Nidhi claimed that Aravind KP had referred to her as 'Holsu Nidhi' (Bad Nidhi) while conversing with his teammates during the Lockdown task while talking about the incident in the weekend episode, Sudeep played a video to clear Nidhi's misconception about the same. In the video, Aravind was seen saying 'Holsu Nidre' (bad sleep), which the actress apparently heard as 'Holsu Nidhi'. This video cleared all the confusion between Nidhi and Aravind. Needless to say, relating to Nidhi's mindset during the task, Sudeep mentioned that the situation was bad and not the person. He further asked her not to make assumptions as it would lead to creating an opinion about her co-contestant.

Shamanth Gowda aka Bro Gowda received a warning ticket from the host for whispering into housemates' ears inside the Bigg Boss house. Sudeep mentioned that avoiding mic while conversing with his inmates is indeed a serious violation. This took a new turn when the housemates were left with just two options from the host. Sudeep asked the housemates to either opt to sleep outside the bedroom for a week or nominate Shamanth directly to the upcoming week. After discussing for a while, the housemates unanimously decided to save Shamanth and opted to sleep outside the bedroom.

Prashanth Sambargi conversing with his co-contestants while hugging them became the talk of the episode. Sudeep mentioned that it is yet again an act of avoiding the mic while conversing. While he asked Prashanth not to continue to do so, he also joked saying that Bigg Boss will be forced to give a time limit of 2 seconds for the housemates to hug in the upcoming days

Towards the end of the Vaarada Kathe Kicchana Jothe episode, host Kiccha Sudeep announced actress Shuba Poonja, Nidhi Subbiah, and Divya Suresh as safe from eviction. Prashanth Sambargi, Geetha Bharathi Bhat, Chandrakala Mohan, Vishwanath Haveri, and Nirmala Chenappa are still in the danger zone. One among them will be getting evicted in the upcoming 'Super Sunday with Sudeepa' episode.
