Actor Shivaji Rao Jadhav, who is popularly known as Subramani Suriname in the serial Jothe Jotheyalli, has been acting in serials and films for over two and half decades. He has acted in many Kannada movies like

The actor, who has settled in Mysuru, travels to Bengaluru frequently for shoots. Speaking to Bangalore Times, Shivaji, who hails from a theatre background says, "I am acting in serials since the last 28 years. I made my debut with the serial

Samagama

, directed by P H Vishwanath. He has directed films so he used to capture every scene aesthetically. After that I acted in T N Seetharam's serial Mayamruga. At that time, people used to finish the work by 4:30pm to watch the serial at 5pm, such was the popularity of the serial. Then I went to act in the serial Mananthana, directed by Seethuram, which gave me a big break. In my entire career, I never took big break from acting."

Talking about the serial Jothe Jotheyali, in which he is playing the role of a father to a girl called

Anu

Sirimane, he says, "The serial is wonderfully directed by Aroor Jagadish. Even during Covid times, people ask me for a selfie, such is the popularity of the serial." Jothe Jotheyalli which is on air on all days, has Aniruddha Jatkar and Megha Shetty in lead roles.
