Kirrik Keerthi announces divorce with wife Arpitha Gowda, says, "Hope she gets a better life"

Kannada actor-host and former Bigg Boss Kannada fame Kirrik Keerthi has taken to his Instagram handle to announce divorce with wife, Arpitha Gowda.

"Officially divorced"
The former on his Instagram handle wrote, "Arpitha and I are legally divorced today. We have put a full stop to our relationship as husband and wife. Henceforth, she will not have anything to do with my personal and professional life. Reason is simple, I am not the owner of her Karimani (Mangalsutra) now. Hope she gets a better life. Hope she forgets all the bitter memories and starts a fresh life. Your love and blessings are needed to me as well." (sic)


That's not all Keerthi also caption the post by writing, "Let everything be auspicious" (sic)

When Arpitha changed her surname
Keerthi had often hinted about his differences in his marital life with his wife, Arpitha, for a very long time now. It all started when Arpitha changed her surname on her social media handles and even deleted pictures where she was seen along with Keerthi. There were also rumors that the duo were not staying together in the same house since the beginning of 2023. According to sources, Arpitha had already shifted to her parent's house along with son, Avishkaar.


Keerthi's struggling phase
In one of the earlier Instagram posts, Kirrik Keerthi opened up about battling depression. He stated that he has been worried about his son, Avishkaar's future and the questions about life were bothering him.

Keerthi and Arpitha have been married for nearly ten years now. They got married after a huge struggle as Arpitha's parents had not agreed for the marriage. The former couple had opened up about the same during their participation in the couple-based reality show, Jodi No 1. In fact, Keerthi and Arpitha were even announced as the runner-up of the reality show.
