Majaa Talkies is a milestone in my career: Srujan Lokesh

It’s been six years since popular weekend comedy show Majaa Talkies hosted by Srujan Lokesh, which premiered in 2014 on a Kannada general entertainment channel, has won the hearts of the viewers.

Thanking viewers for their overwhelming support to the show, Srujan Lokesh in a video which he has uploaded on Instagram recently, said, “Majaa Talkies has been an amazing journey. The first episode went on air on February 7, 2014 since then Majaa Talkies has struck a chord with viewers which could have happened without the support of people. Majaa Talkies is a milestone in my career. I can promise that the entire team will continue to entertain all with your blessings.”

Majaa Talkies which is quite similar to the Hindi show Comedy Nights With Kapil went on air last September, post the lockdown. The show had power star Puneeth Rajkumar in the initial episode as a special guest. The show also had Harshika Poonacha, Krishi Thapanda, Shwetha Prasad, Kavya Gowda, Kavitha Gowda and Shubra Aiyappa as guests, in recent episodes. The team comprises of Indrajith Lankesh, Aparna, Mandya Ramesh, Swetha Changappa, Pavan Kumar, Kuri Prathap and others.
