Radha Ramana: Kavya Gowda is the new 'Radha Miss'; replaces Shwetha Prasad

Kavya Gowda is back on Kannada television as Radha miss. The actress, who was last seen in a daily soap 'Ghandhaari', will be playing the role of Radha aka Radha miss in popular daily soap 'Radha Ramana'. The actress replaces Shwetha Prasad, who left the serial due to some personal reasons.

Kavya Gowda shot to fame through daily soap Gandhari. She played the dual character role of Deepti and Drishti. She was also seen in Shuba Vivaha and Meera Madhava.

The actress made her debut television with a popular reality show 'Pyate Mandi Kaadig Bandru'.

On the other hand, Shwetha Prasad called it a quit from Radha Ramana recently. The actress clearly mentioned that she is taking a break from television as she wants to explore alternate options including online video blogs and digital movie platforms.

Besides, Shwetha was also been voted as Bangalore Mirror's most desirable women of television consistently for two consecutive years.

Previously, actress Raksha, who was seen playing the character of Anvitha also left the show. She was replaced by actress Mansi Joshi.

From spontaneous dialogues to the star-studded cast, Radha Ramana is undoubtedly one of the most loved daily soap of Kannada Television.

The show is giving a tough competition to the other shows of late and has managed to secure the second spot in the recent TRP charts.

Radha Ramana is directed by Santosh S Koti and the dialogues are penned by Padmini Prithviraj Jain. The show has Skanda Ashok in the lead while Ashita Chandrappa, Mansi Joshi, Sujatha, Chidanand, Ashu play a prominent role.
