Sahithya's character will always be special to me, says Gattimela actress Sharanya Shetty

recently witnessed a big leap in the story. While Sahithya's true colours being exposed, it remains to be seen if the makers would consider her (Sahithya's) comeback.

Speaking about the same, ETimes TV got in touch with Actress Sharanya Shetty to speak about her on-screen character Sahithya and much more...

"I am not sure if this is the beginning of something new or the end of something! The journey of playing a vamp in daily show Gattimela was surely a roller coaster ride. But at the same time, it was definitely a beautiful one," says the actress.

She continues saying, "It was truly a challenge to play Sahithya's character. Never in my dreams had I ever thought that I would play the role of vamp Sahithya's character will always be special to me."

Talking more about the show and her character, Sharanya says, "I couldn't ask for better co-artists then them. I did make a hell lot of friends who comforted me on the sets. Of course, I will miss my shoot routine. More than that, I will miss my buddies too."

On the other hand, the actress takes a stroll down the memory lane and shares how sceptical she was in accepting the negative role.

"Sahithya's character has a negative shade and that's why I was a bit hesitant when the makers offered me the role in the beginning. I was scared about the response I would receive by the viewers," expressed Sharanya.

She further concludes saying, "I’m very happy about my decision right now. I am glad I accepted a character with negative shades. I feel it is very easy to connect with the viewers when you play a positive character. Whereas when you essay a negative role, it takes time to connect with the viewers but you have a lot of scope for performance.”
