Shivarajkumar turns producer for soap opera

. Interestingly, the serial will see Srinath, Ramakrishna and

Padmavasanthi

in pivotal roles who had acted in the movie Manasa Sarovara.

The makers of the serial are yet to confirm on whether the serial is connected to the blockbuster film, which got released in 1982. In the movie, Srinath played the role of a Psychiatrist, while Padmavasanthi essayed the role of an insane girl. According to channel sources, the title song of the movie Manasa Sarovara will be used in the serial, which will go on air soon on

Udaay
