television industry is not immune to it either. While actress
Kavya Gowda tied the knot with businessman
Somshekar on Thursday, television actors
Deepak Mahadev
and
Chandana got hitched on December 2.
Kavya married Somshekar in a grand wedding ceremony, attended by family, friends and well-wishers. They were supposed to get married earlier this year, but the wedding had to be postponed due to the second wave of COVID.
Kavya Gowda had earlier said, “I am the last daughter of my family and Somshekar is the last son in his family and we wanted the wedding to be a grand affair. So, we decided to have the wedding in December so that more people can come and bless us which is the wish of our family members too.” She has ruled out the possibility of making an acting comeback post her wedding.
Meanwhile, television actors
Deepak Mahadev and Chandana also got hitched, on December 2 at a resort in Bengaluru. As COVID restrictions were relaxed, they got married in the presence of a large number of people. Deepak had met Chandana during a television award event. For one-and-a-half years, they were just friends, but decided to take their relationship to another level and were engaged earlier this year.
