The incident reportedly occurred late at night in Bengaluru when Mayur Patel’s car allegedly rammed into a stationary vehicle at a traffic signal, triggering a chain collision involving multiple vehicles. Following this, the actor was taken into custody and a case was registered under relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act. The vehicle involved was also seized as part of the investigation. No serious injuries were reported, though several vehicles sustained damage.

Police officials have stated that further legal action will be taken based on the investigation and test reports.
