Amala expresses her delight in embodying the character of Rakhi, a slice-of-life character. With nearly eight years in the industry, she finds a unique simplicity in Rakhi, dubbing her as the quintessential girl-next-door – a character that resonates personally with the audience.



"I have been in the industry for almost eight years. Rakhi is undoubtedly the girl next door. This aspect of the character attracted me, and I am thoroughly enjoying portraying it."

While some actresses might shy away from motherly roles due to concerns about typecasting, Amala embraces the opportunity with gratitude, firmly believing that such roles don't limit her potential for future diverse characters.

"I don't think playing an on-screen mother can take away any of my roles. Makers who are passionate about their work understand an artist's potential, so I don't foresee any typecasting."
