Pookkalam Varavayi's Abhimanyu aka Arun Raghav is well known for his love for travel. From a road trip to Kolukkumala with his friends to a family vacation in Bali, the actor has explored a lot. In an exclusive chat with ETimes-TV, the handsome actor recollects his best vacations and they are sure to set some major travel goals.

​The first thing I would do is set for a drive

As the corona scare is still on, Arun is upset that he is unable to travel anywhere. But, the actor is happy recollecting the best memories of his travels.

"The first thing I would do once all the lockdown restrictions are over is set for a drive. It feels like we are all packed in some box. I badly need the breath of fresh air," he said.

​Love for Bali

When asked about his best travel destinations, without a second thought, Arun shared that it is Bali. The actor was spotted having a great vacation with his family at Bali two years ago.

​Bali is the best

"We feel home at Bali. It has everything that a travel lover would ask for. It has beaches, the art is amazing, you can chill out with some party nights, the culture and heritage will surely attract you," Arun said.

​The adventure freak

Arun says he doesn't just travel to a destination to enjoy its beauty but also for some adventure. The actor was often spotted trying paragliding and sky diving in Thailand and Bali.

​How I overpowered my fear for heights

"I am a person who is afraid of heights. I would tightly grab the rails if I am standing in the balcony of a 5 storey-building too. I wanted to overcome this and I decided to do zipline adventure and I did it at Jebel Jais height, the world's longest zipline. Yes, it was tough for me, but once I did it, It was a huge confidence booster for me," he shared.

​The last Kolukkumala trip

The actor, who is an avid lover of road trips, still cherishes his last bike trip to Kolukkumala hill station a few months ago. Arun shared that he is missing the travel vibes badly due to the lockdown restrictions.
