Asiavision Movie Awards to be premiered on Asianet on the day of Christmas

The Asiavision Movie Awards 2017, which was held in UAE recently, felicitated top-notch actors and technicians from the Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil music industry. The award show will be premiered on Asianet on the day of Christmas from 12 pm.
The event saw prominent celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manju Warrier, Aishwarya Rajesh, Dulquer Salmaan, Shanthi Krishna, Tovino Thomas and Suraj Venjaramoodu, among many others.
Actor Dulquer Salmaan and Manju Warrier together bagged the best actor awards this year. Actress Mamta Mohandas was awarded as the Pride of South India.
Yesteryear actress Shanthi Krishna touched many hearts with her performance in Nivin Pauly's film Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela received the Outstanding Performer, along with Suraj, whose performance in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum was lauded.
Tovino Thomas emerged Man of the Year, with films such as Godha and Oru Mexican Aparatha to his credit.
Other winners of Asiavision movie awards include Sarath Kumar for Angamaly Diaries and Velipadinte Pusthakam and Anu Sithara for Ramante Edenthottam. Vineeth Sreenivasan and Sithara Krishnakumar were also honoured.
