Bigg Boss Malayalam 2: Full and final list of contestants

The second season of the reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam, hosted by superstar Mohanlal, was launched yesterday (January 5) on a high note. The show welcomed 17 contestants as its contestants, who are from different walks of life. From TV host Arya to internet sensation Fukru, take a look at the full and final list of contestants.

Popular singer and siblings Abhirami and Amritha Suresh entered Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 as wild card entrants in the 50th episode. The duo, who is currently gaining popularity with their indie music, is familiar to the telly audience, too. When Amritha Suresh shot to fame with the reality show 'Star Singer', Abhirami grabbed attention with her character Nimmi in the TV show 'Hello Kuttichathan'.

Model Pavan Gino Thomas also entered the show as a wild card entrant. The model, who has participated in many prestigious fashion shows, was one among the finalists of Mr. India contest in 2017. Later, he was crowned as the first runner up in Mr. Kerala 2018. The fitness freak is happily married to his ladylove Lavanya Bonita.

Popular RJ Sooraj entered the second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam as the 20th contestant. The radio jockey shot to fame with his online videos and the controversies that followed. Recently, Sooraj was seen hosting the celebrity game show 'Boeing Boeing' with Deepan Murali.

Activist Jazla Madasseri entered the second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam as a wild card entrant. The former politician shot to fame after participating in a flash mob during the Internation Film Festival of Kerala in 2017. Post the performance, Jazla has received life threats online for participating in the flashmob event. Besides the controversies, Jazla holds a huge fan-following on social media for her views on socially relevant issues.

Mohanlal introduced the 19th contestant of the show, Daya Aswathy to the audience adding, "One who gained popularity on social media for her bold statements". She shot to fame with her statements against Jazla Madasseri during her (Jazla Madasseri 's) dispute with social worker Firoz Kunnamparambil. Daya, who hails from Palakkad, is a beautician by profession. She has also acted in some Malayalam movies as a junior artist.

Senior actress Rajani Chandy was the first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss house this year. The Oru Muthashi Gadha actress expressed that she is happy to share the stage with Mohanlal. The happy homemaker is a fitness enthusiast and drummer.

TV celeb Alina Padikkal made a dashing entry to the Bigg Boss Malayalam's stage with a dance performance. The Bharya actress was recently seen hosting the celebrity chat show 'Day with a star'. The entry of activist Rajith Kumar was indeed a surprise for both the host and viewers. The college professor reportedly made headlines with his misogynistic statements. In 2013, during his interaction with the college students, Rajith made a comment on women wearing jeans. Rajith reportedly commented that women who wear jeans give birth to transgender babies.
