TV actor and Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 finalist Dhanya Mary Varghese's husband, John Jacob can't express his excitement about his wife's achievement. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, the proud hubby is eagerly waiting for the moment to see Dhanya complete 100 days in the show and come out as a winner.

"I am so proud of her. I know many celebrities who hesitate to go to Bigg Boss. They are not confident of their character and are image-conscious. Among such people, Dhanya showed courage and she showed the guts to play the game. She is being herself in the house. Over these years, I haven't seen Dhanya raising her voice or using any cuss words, she is being the same in the show too. Proud of her sportive spirit and willpower," he said.


When asked about his favorite performance of Dhanya, without a second thought John said that it is the bucket balancing task.

"I had goosebumps listening to her words. Yes, she is a 30-year-plus mom who managed to maintain her physical strength as well as secure a place in the industry. I don't think anyone else in the show could give such a strong motivating message to the viewers. She was daring enough to do the self-nomination to know the pulse of the audience. She truly deserves to lift the trophy," John shared.

Talking about Dhanya's biggest opponent in the show, John said that it is Riyas.


"Blesslee was a great gamer. But, in the last couple of weeks, he lost track I guess. Riyas seems to be a strong player now. But, he just entered the show on the 42nd day, and he hasn't faced the pressure of surviving 100 days in the house, which had caused huge breakdowns in most of the contestants. May the one contestant, who contributed well to the show and had made an impact on viewers, be the winner," he pointed out.

John also pointed out a few posts and videos on social media handles and said, "Every week there are Youtube videos about some unofficial polls. What are these? Every hour they update with, 'X contestant has the lead', 'Y contestant tops the voting'. What is the base of all this news? Dhanya'a parents, who don't know the gimmicks, call me every time they see such things. Along with this, the PR stunts have spoiled the charm of the show. Dhanya never had an PR team or 'Comment Thozhilalikal'. Sadly, the toxic fans of some of the contestants have killed the true spirit of the show."
