Bigg Boss Malayalam 8: Former contestants welcome commoners to Agnipariksha

Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 is sure to be a game changer for true fans. The makers have released a new teaser for the season featuring none other than the former commoner entrants of the show. The short video invites entries from commoners to take part in Agnipariksha, the pre-show.



The teaser starts with Gopika, the first-ever commoner contestant of the show, meeting last season's runner-up, Aneesh. As the duo talk about how the show has changed their lives, yet another commoner contestant, Nandana, makes an entry. In the same video, Resmin Bai is also seen narrating how Bigg Boss changed her life, transforming her from a college teacher into a celebrity. Further, in the video, the former commoner contestants welcome Bigg Boss fans to enter Agnipariksha, their chance to compete in the show.



The teaser ends with host Mohanlal announcing the process for becoming part of the pre-show. As per the superstar, Bigg Boss enthusiasts can upload a three-minute self-introduction video describing their personality and viewpoints to the official website. The host emphasised that the winners of Agnipariksha can secure their spot in the reality show.

The makers of Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 released the first teaser of the season on host Mohanlal's birthday. The teaser announced that the show will have its first-ever pre-show, Agnipariksha, to select the commoner contestants of the season. As per the updates, the Agnipariksha show will premiere in mid-August, and the much-awaited grand launch of the season can be expected in the initial weeks of September.



Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 concluded by declaring TV actress Anumol as the winner. When commoner contestant Aneesh emerged as the runner-up, choreographer Nevin secured third place.
