Chembarathi celebrates 300 episodes

completed its 300 episodes recently. The show features, actress

Amala Gireeshan

,

Stebin Jacob

and Aishwarya Bhaskaran in lead roles. The serial deals with the story of an innocent girl Kalyani, a village belle who goes on creating her destiny, despite the obstructions she faces due to the difference in class. The instances in her life make her come across Akhilandeshwari a rich, strong-willed and stubborn woman.
Actresses Amala, Aishwarya and Stebin play the roles, Kalyani, Akhilandeshwari and Anand respectively. As per the recent episodes, Kalyani and Anand are realizing their love for each other, but the pair does not want to hurt their family.

'Chembarathi' is the Malayalam adaptation of Tamil serial, 'Sembaruthi' and the remake of Telugu serial, 'Muddha Mandaram'.

The show recently celebrated its 300 episodes by posting a live video on the channel’s social networking page. As per the video, the team thanked the audience for their support and later performed a cake cutting ceremony at their shooting location with a bash.
