Christmas 2021: Movie premieres to Mollywood stars featuring in reality shows; Malayalam TV offers a high dose of entertainment

Christmas is here and Malayalam TV channels are trying their best to impress the audience this festive season. From the premiere of popular movies to Christmas specials in ongoing reality shows, this Christmas is sure to be a visual treat for the telly audience. Here's a quick look...

'Madhuram Shobhanam' is a star-studded event paying tribute to dancer-actress Shobhana. As a token of love for the actress, popular stars namely Miya, Deepthi Sati, Shamna Kasim, and others will be seen recreating the former's iconic characters on the stage.

Actors Manju Warrier, Maniyanpilla Raju, Mukesh, will also join the show as guests. Besides movie stars, TV stars, Reshmi Soman, Ramzan Muhammed, Sruthi Lakshmi can also be seen leaving the audience stunned by their dance performances.

The recent hit movie, starring Indrans and Manju Pillai, 'Home' will have its world TV premiere on Christmas. The film portrays the life of a middle-aged man who gets the hang of new technology in order to keep up with the young generation. The movie, which had an OTT release in August, was much-loved by the family audience.

Thriller movie 'Lalbagh', featuring Mamta Mohandas and Rahul Madhav in prominent roles, will also have its world TV premiere on Christmas.

Tamil blockbuster movie, starring Arya, 'Sarpatta Parambarai' will also have its TV premiere on December 25. The dubbed movie will have its premiere at 7 PM.

The grand finale of popular celebrity show, 'Start Music' will have its grand finale this Sunday. Making the grand finale stage extravagant, young sensational actor Unni Mukundan will grace the show as the chief guest. In the final round of competition, Teams Santhwanam, Padatha Painkili, Thoovalsparsham, and Koodevide will be competing for the grand prize.

The popular reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Keralam Li'l Champs' is gearing up for a special episode and actor Asif Ali will be seen as the celebrity guest. In one of the teasers that surfaced online, the former TV host Asif Ali can be seen brushing up his anchoring skill. Besides having some hilarious interactions with host Jeeva, the actor is also seen awestruck by some of the performances by the contestants.

To add the fun quotient in the comedy show, 'Oru Chiri Iru Chiri Bumper Chiri', actor Asif Ali, singer Vineeth Sreenivas and TV host-turned-director Mathukutty will be entering the show. In the teaser surfaced online, the trio is seen enjoying a gala time with the team.
