Comedy Stars fame Binu B Kamal arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in bus

Comedy Stars fame and actor Binu B. Kamal found himself in legal trouble after being apprehended on charges of alleged misbehavior and sexual assault towards a female passenger on a KSRTC bus.

The incident in question occurred during an evening bus ride on Wednesday (October 11). The arrest was made following a formal complaint lodged by the female passenger who was traveling from Thiruvananthapuram to Nilamel (Kollam) on the same bus.

She said in her complaint that Binu, who was seated next to her, engaged in inappropriate conduct as the bus reached Vattappara. Subsequently, fellow passengers and bus staff were informed of the incident, but the accused managed to flee when the bus came to a halt at Vattapara Junction. Further, he was chased by the co-passengers and handed over to the police.


Binu B Kamal shot to fame as a contestant in the popular comedy show, 'Comedy Stars'. He was a part of the team VIP along with comedians Nelson and Noby Marcose. After the show, he was seen in many other popular shows too. On the grand finale stage of Bigg Boss Malayalam 5, Binu was spotted performing a spoof. Along with TV, he also managed to make his entry into movies.
