Eminent poet and activist

Sugathakumari passed away

on Wednesday (December 23) while undergoing treatment for COVID-19. The 86-year-old breathed her last at the Thiruvananthapuram medical college hospital. From celebrities to common man, condolences are pouring for the departed soul.
Joining them, Malayalam TV celebs have also paid tribute to Sugathakumari through their social media accounts.

Sharing a throwback video of one of her interviews with the late poet, Parasparam fame Gayathri Arun has written an emotional note on her social media account. In the video, Sugathakumari is seen giving a sweet kiss on Gayathri's hand as Vishu Kaineettam. "No other Kaineettam is valuable than Amma's kiss," Gayathri wrote.
