After a brief gap, actor Richard Jose is making a dashing comeback with a brand new show. With a stunning makeover, the actor is all set to play a dapper fashion designer in 'Pranayavarnangal'. In a candid chat with ETimes TV, Richard opened up about his excitement to be a part of a KK Rajeev's directorial.

'Some characters are worth the wait, and Sidharth is one such character'
Talking about the gap of eight months after his show 'Sumagali Bhava', Richard shared, "Some characters are worth the wait, and Sidharth is one such character. Soon after Sumangali Bhava, I got to know about this project. Playing the lead in a KK Rajeev serial, what else do I need? I was ready to wait for it. I know not many would do that, but I knew that this serial is worth it".

Efforts of TV actors are often forgotten
"We often celebrate the transformations of movie actors, but the efforts of TV actors like us are often forgotten. I always love to try something new in my characters. For Sumangali Bhava I had shaved my hair completely, for Sidharth I have tried a long hairstyle. Also, I have lost about 7 kilos for my character," he shared.

In the show, Naamam Japikkunna Veedu fame Swathy Nithyanand will be seen playing Richard's on-screen love interest. The actor shared that they are hoping to be the next most - desirable romantic couple on Malayalam TV.
