Bigg Boss Malayalam 6 had witnessed the first-ever eviction in the season and it was comedian Ratheesh Kumar who walked out of the show. From engaging in what many deemed as "unnecessary" conflicts to making derogatory remarks about fellow inmates, Ratheesh's path through the competition was marked by a series of missteps and controversies. Here is a look at what went wrong for him.

The contestant indeed had one of the best-ever intros in the show's history. The makers had released one of his parody songs days before the launch and the fans were curious about who this potential contestant was.

On day one, Ratheeh was seen lashing out at Jaanmoni for lighting a cigarette from the cooking stove. In the weekend episode, host Mohanlal mentioned that though the issue was important to be addressed, Ratheesh had exaggerated it and staged a dramatic reaction.

Ratheesh landed in a controversy after one of his statements about inmate Jaanmoni Das. The contestant warned Jaanmoni not to touch him since he was not comfortable. However, one of his comments is that he is ok if other ladies touch him but Jaanmoni irked the inmates and fans outside. Transgender activists Nadira Mehrin, Surya Ishan, and others voiced against Ratheesh stating that he is trying to shame Jaanmoni, the transgender and celebrity makeup artist.

The ex-contestant was seen picking up unwanted fights with the inmates. Even during one of the episodes, he mentioned that he aims to make all the housemates his enemies. His reportedly, irritating nature was criticized by co-contestants as well as fans.

Not just with Jaanmoni, Ratheesh picked a dirty argument with Suresh Menon also. After Suresh requests Ratheesh not to touch him unnecessarily, the latter alleged that Suresh has a 'female mind'. In a conversation with housemates, Ratheesh made comments about Suresh's sexuality and it eventually ended up in a huge brawl in one of the episodes.

When his issues with Suresh were at their peak, Ratheesh announced that he was leaving the house. He packed his bag and was seen waiting near the main gate. However, neither Bigg Boss nor the inmates paid much attention to his act and eventually, he came back to the house.

Even on the day of elimination, Ratheesh ended up in a controversy. Before the captaincy task, host Mohanlal asked the contestants to guess the potential winner. During his turn, Ratheesh said that Sijo would win against Resmin and Apsara since he is a man. This misogynistic comment also gained him much criticism.

During his valedictory speech, Ratheesh admitted that his game plan failed. "Sorry, everyone. I'm not usually an irritating character. My game plan failed. I should have been more careful with my words. I've learned that one must exercise caution with their language. In just a week, I've gained valuable insights," he said.
