I repent entering the show, says Bigg Boss Malayalam 2's evicted contestant Rajini Chandy

The ever-charming 68-year-old actress Rajini Chandy entered the second season of

Bigg Boss Malayalam

to prove that age is never a barrier. The first contestant who entered the house was much excited to spend quality time with the youngsters in the show. But, Rajini's expectations took a U-turn after the first week of the game. From verbal spats with Pareekutty to getting jailed for under-performing in the weekly task, the show proved to be a different experience for her.

In an exclusive chat with TimesofIndia.com, Rajini Chandy said she regrets participating in the reality show without gaining prior knowledge about the game.

"Yes, I repent entering the show. I was not a suitable contestant for the game. I decided to participate in the show to have some fun and make some memories. I admit that it was my first mistake," she opens up.

Rajini was on the verge of tears while talking about the hate comments she has been receiving after her exit from the show. She said why are the fans abusing her without even giving respect to her age.

"I am an open-minded person and express what I feel. I did the same inside the house, but I never thought that it would cost me these many haters," she says.

Besides the issues inside the house, the actress is also upset about the abusive comments she is getting from netizens after one of her comments post-eviction. One of Rajini's comments about

has gone viral and social media is full of hateful remarks on this.

"I sincerely apologise for my comment against Rajith in one of the recent interviews. It just came out of excitement. If my comment has hurt the sentiments of his fans, kindly take this as my open apology," said Rajini.
Putting aside the public reactions, Rajini is happy that she could participate in the show and successfully achieve her goal of being an inspiration for people who think that age is a restricting factor to explore new things in life.
