In the official announcement on Sunday, the actor received the civilian honor recognizing his remarkable contribution to Indian cinema. The Padma Awards for 2026 were announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the eve of Republic Day, recognizing individuals who have made a lasting impact across diverse fields.
