Gayathri Arun is overwhelmed after fulfilling one of her biggest dreams in life. The actress has penned a book which is a memoir of her father. The book was launched by none other than Malayalam superstar-BB Malayalam host
Mohanlal.
Sharing a picture of him reading the book, Mohanlal wrote, "To all who live in the fond memories of their dear fathers, I am presenting Gayathri Arun's book, '

Sharing her feelings about her dream come true moment with ETimes-TV, Gayathri said, "It is an overwhelming moment. I never thought I would get such an opening for my book. My father was the biggest fan of Mohanlal. So, to get the book, which was indeed a tribute to him, get published by the actor is the greatest thing. Thanks to

for accepting my request," she said.
Gayathri also added that she never thought she would be able to complete the book.
"I never thought I could achieve this dream. When I lost Achan midway, I didn't know whom to go to get the stories from. Thanks to everyone who stood by me. Also, I could give the first copy to
Manju Warrier, that is also a blessing," she added.
Gayathri's book is a compilation of 10 stories from her special and hilarious moments with her father. As a tribute, she has published the book on the death anniversary of her father.
Gayathri Arun became a household name with her character Deepthi IPS in the show 'Parasparam'. Even though the show recently went off-air after claiming the record of being the longest-running Malayalam daily soap, she is still loved for her character.
