Years after, Pearle has finally revealed what went wrong in the recipe. Sharing the throwback video online, she shared that they were trying to make 'Ariyunda'.
'Just to clarify. We were trying to make 'Ariyunda'. That's the rice powder and Jeerakam. And.. it was mixed and kept in the fridge for a few days. So maybe, I dunno its exact recipe anymore,' she wrote.
For the unversed, in one of the episodes of Bigg Boss Malayalam 1, contestants Pearle Maaney and Sabumon were spotted experimenting with a snack. The dish was similar to Chukkappam which is prepared by putting the batter in boiling oil. However, the experiment became an epic failure when the rice balls started exploding inside the pan spilling the oil everywhere. The duo rushed out of the kitchen in panic and they were spotted laughing out loud.

Sabumon Abdusamad became a sensation after his entry into Bigg Boss Malayalam. He emerged as the first winner of the show; due credits to his brilliant gaming. After the show, he gained much popularity with his movies as well as TV shows. Currently, Sabu is one of the judges in the popular comedy show, 'Oru Chiri Iru Chiri Bumper Chiri'.
On the personal front, Pearle Maaney and hubby Srinish Aravind recently announced that they are expecting their second baby soon.
