In the recent episode, Neelima was seen singing one of the most popular classical songs of singer K S Chithra. After the performance, Sujatha Mohan appreciated the singer for her melodious presentation.
Surprisingly, on the stage, Neelima has revealed that she is not formally trained in classical music despite her father being a popular Carnatic singer. The judges went surprised with Neelima's words and invited her father on to the stage. Responding to his daughter's comment, Shiju has mentioned that he skipped giving formal guidance to Neelima just to make her well versed with other genres of music too.
Later, the father-daughter performed together on stage which was well appreciated by the grand jury and the judges.

After winning a blockbuster for the performance, Neelima requested her mother also to join the stage. The proud parents were seen emotional while gifting the blockbuster medal to Neelima.
