' has declared that he is quitting the show. In a social media post, the actor has announced that he will not be continuing the character. However, he hasn't revealed the reason behind the decision.

"Namaste. Thank you all for the love and support you had given for Chakkappazham's Uthaman. I will not be continuing as Uthaman. Your support is one of the biggest strengths in my acting career. I expect the same support and prayers in all my upcoming movies and programs, too," reads the translation of his post.


Sreekumar's post is full of fan comments requesting him not to quit the show.
