Star Singer: It's a tie for Surya Narayanan and Vaishakan in 'Do or Die'
The competition inside Star Singer is getting tougher day by day. The contestants are leaving no stone unturned to impress the judges and the viewers. As the show progresses with the Do or Die round, every performance is a treat for fans.
In the recent episode, contestants Surya Narayanan and Vaishakan were seen delivering a magnificent performance in the Do or Die round. On the stage, the duo has picked the popular semi-classical song from the movie Mazha, 'Aashadam Padumbol.' The duo has impressed the judges with their flawless rendition.
"I haven't heard this song much in reality shows; congrats on the efforts. Both of you have done a great job; there weren't many mistakes to be pointed out," Judge KS Chithra said.
However, the real twist came after the performance. The duo secured 50% of the vote each and made it a tie this time. As per the rule of the Do or Die round, both Surya and Vaishakan will get 3 marks each.
In the previous performance, contestants Arjun and Vidhuraj had secured a golden star in the same round. The duo re-recorded the evergreen Hindi song 'Sandese Aate Hai.'
