Star Singer: Theertha and Krishnasree stun in Do or Die; Sharafudeen says, 'Lucky to witness this performance'

Star Singer contestants are leaving no stones unturned, and each of their performances is nothing short of a masterpiece. In the recent episode, Theertha Sathyan and Krishnasree left everyone stunned by their performance.



In the Do or Die round, the duo has sung the popular semi-classical number 'Angopangam' from the movie 'Devasuram.' Undoubtedly, the contestants have nailed it with utmost perfection. From the precision in rendering the Swaram to the chemistry, the duo has given a musical treat for everyone. Soon after the performance, judges Sithara Krishnakumar and Vidhu Prathap gave a standing ovation to the duo. Not to be missed, KS Chithra, who originally sang the song, also surprised the contestants with the well-deserved golden star.




"The biggest challenge was to perform this song in front of Chithramma. Both of them have worked so hard for the song," mentors Sadhika and Veena praised the contestants.



Singer Sithara Krishnakumar mentions that it was one of the best Golden Star performances in the show. Musician Hesham Abdul Wahab, who is seen as a celebrity guest in the show, also praised the contestants, especially Theertha, for the stunning rendition.



"Both of you have sung it so well, but Theertha, you were something else. I wish you would enter playback singing and independent music soon. At times, I was doubtful whether it was recorded," he said.





On the other hand, actor Sharafudheen, who was also present on the stage, shared that he feels blessed to have witnessed this performance live.



Star Singer continues to win hearts with the stunning performances of the contestants. The show currently progresses with the performances of the top 10 contestants of the show. The winner of the show will get the grand prize of Rs 50 lakhs.
