In an exclusive chat with ETimes-TV, Uma paid a tribute to her dear colleague beyond a good friend.


"I went numb when I heard the news. I prayed for it to be fake. But, I couldn't resist myself from going to the hospital. I rushed to the hospital and was shattered to see many of our colleagues standing in the corridor. They couldn't utter a word or even have the courage to enter the room. But, I managed to see him for one last time. He still has that warm and welcoming smile," Uma Nair went lost in words.

"He was a gem of a person. If the whole TV industry is mourning for the loss of an actor, it is evident how acceptable he was to everyone. He always had a welcoming smile," she added.

Uma Nair says that Sabari's death is unbelievable adding that he was someone who was very conscious of his health and never missed his fitness routine.


"Some deaths are unjustifiable. He was so young to be gone. I haven't seen anyone who takes care of his physique like him. Now, I believe that life is transient," Uma said.
