Exclusive: Had suicidal thoughts when got axed overnight from Mulgi Zali Ho but Bigg Boss Marathi 4 resurrected me back, says, runner-up Kiran Mane

Bigg Boss Marathi season 4 recently concluded on January 8 crowing Akshay Kelkar as the winner of the season. The show managed to grab the attention of the viewers due to its diversity of contestants who have been in the headlines due to various controversies. One such contestant was Kiran Mane. Before participating in the reality show, Kiran got axed from the TV show Mulgi Zali Ho and was in the headlines. 52-year-old Kiran stayed in the house for 100 days and also became the runner-up of the BB Marathi 4. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Kiran spoke about his life after getting axed from the TV show, Bigg Boss offer, how his life changed after BB, and more.

It changed a lot. They made a lot of allegations against me. There are a few co-actors also who have made allegations against me. It was mentally depressing for me. I was depressed because people made serious allegations of tantrums and I was not getting work because of that. They were lying about me. At one point of time, I wanted to commit suicide and was hounded by suicidal thoughts.

I am thankful to the Bigg Boss Marathi 4 team. They gave the offer of Bigg Boss to me when it was needed. I was desperately waiting to be back on camera after getting axed. I fought my battle very hard. I filed a case against the makers too but what else could I have done? I wanted to end my life but Bigg Boss offered me to come in the show and it just resurrected me back.

Very few know that the Bigg Boss team had offered me season 2 as well but I had said NO that time. I was busy with my work and was into other things so decided to not go inside the house. When they offered me for the second time for BB Marathi 4, I said Yes.

I remember last year, in the same month of January 2022, the makers of Mulgi Zali Ho axed me from the show overnight and I was interviewing and telling people and the media about how injustice has done to me. Today, in this year of 2023, I am interviewing about how I have performed best in the BB house and more. A year can change a lot of things and I am blessed today. I want to live again now for my family and fans. I want to work hard now for everyone.

Yes, I got to know about it after coming out of the house that the majority of polls showed me as the winner. I don't want to blame anyone or put allegations against anyone. I am happy with whatever I have done and whatever I have got in my life.
