Exclusive: I am feeling sad for Omkar and Sweetu just like the audience, Nikhil Raut aka Mohit on the new twist in Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla

Popular Marathi TV show Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla made headlines recently. The show recently aired its maha episode in which the lead Sweetu got married to Mohit instead of Omkar, who is playing the male lead. This sudden twist in the storyline took the audience by surprise. A section of Sweetu and Omkar fans trolled the show and some also asked the makers to end it.In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, actor Nikhil Raut who is playing the role of Mohit in the show spoke about netizens' reactions, Sweetu-Mohit marriage, and much more.
Talking about the maha episode in which Sweetu married Mohit instead of Omkar, Nikhil said, "Even we did not know about the twist. The makers informed us about the twist a few days prior. I know the Maha episode shocked everyone in the end, but the audience will soon know why it happened like that."
Nikhil Raut said that he was expecting that the audience would troll them and they will receive wrath. He said, "I was expecting that after airing the Maha episode, we are going to witness major trolling and outrage from the people, and that's what happened. I know how people are feeling now. As a human being and as a person, I also feel very sad for Om and Sweetu. I have to do what is written in the script because I am a professional actor".
Nikhil further said that he takes the trolls and jokes positively, but he gets frustrated when a few netizens cross their limits. Talking about it, Nikhil said, "I know netizens troll Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla for its twists and turns. People troll me for various reasons and I take everything positively, but a few sometimes cross their limits. A few go to my wife's social media account and write something nasty to her. It is not acceptable. At a certain point, these things make me angry. People should understand that what I am playing is Mohit Parab. I am not that person in real life. I am Nikhil Raut in real life".
Nikhil said that the viewers would definitely love the upcoming storyline. He said, "Sweetu and Mohit's marriage shocked everyone, but the audience will further know why it happened. I know the show has taken a 360-degree turn, and it feels like the storyline has started from the beginning. Sweetu's marriage with Mohit is like a settlement, and they have got married is just for other's sake. I am sure the audience will love the upcoming storyline.
