for the show.
Nitish Chavan aka Ajinkya from the show Lagira Zhala Ji revealed that it was a real 'Kasam Parade' that was shot for the serial.
In an exclusive interview with TimesofIndia.com, Nitish said, "It wasn't an easy task to shoot the real Kasam Parade. The procedure, which required taking all the essential permissions began almost a year ago. Finally, we got to shoot the real parade. I feel lucky to get a chance to participate in the Kasam Parade of the Indian Army."
He added, "The Kasam Parade shoot was for 3 days and I took prior training. During the shoot, I have crossed all the obstacles and performed the march past all by myself. No dummy was used for the scene."
Talking about the proudest moment of his life, Nitish said, "I got the base recruit medal from the Army Brigadier, which is usually given only to the army officials after the Kasam Parade. Also, my mama was given a 'Gaurav Padak' with 'Aapki santaan desh ke liye samparpit' written on it. That line got tears in my eyes."
The Kasam Parade episode of Lagira Zhala Ji will air on May 2nd.
