is mired in a controversy as
Kiran Mane, the former lead actor, was asked to leave the show midway.
However, he found his co-star
Savita Malpekar's allegations that he would 'misbehave' and 'taunt' female artists on the sets, disturbing. Kiran in his latest lengthy social media post lashed out at Savita and towards the end mentioned that he can understand the 'pressure on her'.

Kiran wrote, "I used to call you 'Mhatare' by love..even till the last day of our shoot. You were treating me with love .. till the last look of shooting !! In recent days, someone has been misleading you about me that "Kiran is trying to remove you by telling the writers." You started to feel like that...You would sit in the make-up room and bash at me loudly ... Even after that I did not fight with you. After meeting you, I took your hand in my hand and cleared your misunderstanding..told you some facts ... Later when you called the writers, you realized that it was not Kiran Mane's fault ... You know what happened. You talked to me about that secret thing .. we laughed .. (sic)"
Further in the note, Kiran added that he was rather shocked to see her talking against him on television. He wrote,"I was shocked when you spoke against me on TV! It was heartbreaking for me. But let me tell you I am not going to hold any grudges on you. I can understand there is pressure on you. But if you ask me, I will not give up my life without getting justice!"

while Savita Malpekar was playing the role of Aaji (Vilas Patil's mother) in the show. Savita in her recent interaction with media stated that Kiran would often 'misbehave' with female artists and taunt them on the sets. Notably, the channel in its official statement cited Kiran Mane's alleged 'inappropriate behaviour' with female co-stars as one of the reasons behind axing from the show.
