Marathi actresses and siblings Titeeksha Tawde and Khushboo Tawde tie Rakhi to each other and celebrate Raksha Bandhan in a unique way
Unique way of celebration
Raksha Bandhan is a festival of unique bonding between siblings. On this festival, brothers and sisters tie rakhi and share gifts with each other. Many celebrities also celebrate the festival in a unique way. But did you know the Marathi actresses and siblings Titeeksha Tawde and Khushboo Tawde celebrate Raksha Bandhan by tying Rakhi to each other? Yes! That's right. Titeeksha and Khushboo have been tying Rakhi to each other since childhood and giving each other special gifts on the special day. The Tawde sisters share an endearing bond that goes beyond their professional lives, and this gesture showcased their strong connection. This year too they are doing the same and they shared their excitement with us.
Khushboo recalls memories
Talking about it, Khushboo reminisced about her childhood memories with Titeeksha and said, "Raksha Bandhan has been a very special festival for us because there is always a lively atmosphere in the house. Every morning, we would tie the first rakhi to God, then our father, and the third rakhi to each other. As a child, we were not old enough to know that Rakhi is all about gifts, but when we grew up and started to know, we decided to celebrate this festival to nurture this sisterly bond and relationship."
Special Raksha Bandhan
The actress further added that Raksha Bandhan 2023 is special for them as they are both working as lead actors in two different shows on the same channel. Khushboo said, "This year's Rakshabandhan is special for us as both of us sisters are starring in two shows on the same channel, and it's a great joy for us. My new show, which is based on two sisters, this year, we gave gifts to each other. No matter how busy we are this time, we will make time for each other and celebrate this day. We are sending the message that every sister should protect her sibling. My very best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Rakshabandhan."
Titeeksha Tawde is playing the lead role in the show Satvya Mulichi Satvi Mulgi, while Khushboo Tawde is playing the lead in the show Sara Kahi Tichyasathi.
