From revealing his reason behind accepting the show to answering queries on love and marriage, interesting statements made by Simbu

In the latest episode, where Simbu was revealed as the host of the rest of the show, fans and housemates were excited to see the actor on the BB stage.

The new host took the opportunity to interact with the housemates and fans as well. From revealing the reason behind signing up for the show to love and marriage, here’s a look at some interesting statements by the actor.

"Whenever one hears the BB music, the person who appears in our memory is Kamal Haasan. I have not come to replace him, since he was not able to continue hosting, I have come out of respect for him," said the actor as he appeared on the stage.

There was also a short Q&A session with fans, where Simbu answered some of the questions from the fans. He also answered a few of the questions from the housemates.

One of the fans, asked him, 'Love pannalama venama?'(Can we love or not?), reciting a lyric written by him as a question. Simbu answered, "Yes, if a right person comes." The fan made Simbu blush by saying, "Until you are there, we will keep loving you.”

When a fan asked him, "We have seen you as an actor, singer, and director. What is going to be your new avatar?", the actor replied, "I don't want to take away your curiosity by revealing it right away. So please wait and watch."

One of the audiences asked about his amazing 'Atman' weight loss transformation, Simbu said, "It's a common thing to put on some weight, as it ages. But for me, at that point in life, I lost interest in everything around me. I stopped going out of the house. I closed myself up. I also stopped worrying about my weight gain. But when I started trying to lose weight, I failed many times. Then I came to a realization- before going through a physical transformation, one has to go through the mental journey and get prepared. So, it was the mental journey that made the transformation easy."

The housemates were told that there would be no eviction this week, as Simbu wanted to start with a happy note. During this moment, Bala asked Simbu, "Kalyanam yeppo? (When's your wedding?)” This received huge applause from the audience. Shyly, the actor replied, "Whenever the right person turns up."
