Actor Thulasi passes away due to COVID-19 complications; celebs Radikaa Sarathkumar, Mohan Raman and others mourn his sad demise

Veteran actor Thulasi, popularly known as 'Joker' Thulasi, passed away on Sunday due to COVID-19 related complications. Thulasi’s colleagues from the industry like Radikaa Sarathkumar, Mohan Raman and others are mourning his sad demise.
Actress Radikaa of Vani Rani and Chithi 2 fame wrote, “Very saddened to hear of the passing of Joker Thulasi, a very wonderful person, has been in theatre &movies for many decades.Sends me messages everyday with positive thoughts. Share working memories of him in #vaanirani , will miss his childlike enthusiasm (sic)”

Actor Mohan Raman wrote, “RIP - " Joker " Thulasi. Has been acting since the mid 70s . A very affable person , deeply interested in Astrology etc. I pray for his Athma to attain Sadhgathi. Did many films and TV serials together. I pray his family finds the strength to bear this loss. Aum Shanthi (sic)”

Thulasi is known for his work in TV, films and theatre, too.
On the TV front, Thulasi has appeared in serials like Vani Rani, Kolangal, Keladi Kanmani, Kasthuri, Muthaaram, Naanal, Azhagu and Madhavi.
“Joker” Thulasi made his debut as an actor in the Tamil film “Ungalil Oruthi” directed by Devaraj-Mohan in April, 1976 and went onto feature in films like Thirumathi Palanisamy, Thamizhachi, Avathara Purushan, Ilaignar Ani, Udan Pirappu, Mannai Thottu Kumbidanum, to name a few.
