In the latest episode of
Bigg Boss Tamil 5
, the host
Kamal Haasan began the episode by paying tribute to Kannada Superstar
Puneeth Rajkumar who passed away recently due to cardiac arrest. He hailed Puneeth for his noble gesture to donate his eyes and hoped it will inspire many towards organ donation.
Kamal asked the housemates to describe each other with a suitable word.
Talking about the costumes and dressing style of the contestants, he opined that everyone has the freedom to present themselves as they wish to.
Kamal told
Abhinay Vaddi that the audiences are expecting a lot from him.
Out of the 9 contestants nominated earlier, Imman Annachi and Isaivani got saved in the previous episode. He asked the remaining 7 contestants -
Akshara Reddy
, Abhinay Vaddi, Chinna Ponnu, Priyanka Deshpande, Pavani Reddy,
Suruthi
and
Varun to join further discussion in the activity room. One after the other, Kamal saved 4 contestants. Later, Abhinay, Varun and
Chinna Ponnu
were left in the danger zone. Kamal shared that he wanted to see more participation from them.
Finally, Kamal announced that Chinna Ponnu got evicted from the show. After sharing a few emotional moments, she left the house.
Kamal welcomed her onto the stage. After watching her journey in the show, Chinna Ponnu thanked the audience for their love.
