Anitha Sampath, who was considered as one of the strongest contestants of the season, was eliminated from the house. She entered the BB house once again with a conviction of changing her image that she got from BB Tamil 4.

Balaji Murugadoss and Anitha Sampath were once housemates in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. Many times, both were seen confessing their good friendship outside the BB house. Yet, this season, the rivalry between them sparked instantly. It started to smoke out during the press conference task.

Anitha had a strong relationship with Niroop and Suruthi. These three were often seen confronting each other, whenever Bala had a tiff with any of them. Their friendship irked Bala on many occasions. When Niroop was the captain of the house, Bala slammed Anitha saying, "Are you the assistant captain of the house?"

Once, Anitha was seen saying that she was carrying Bigg Boss’ child. This sparked a controversy inside the house and outside. Her idea of joke that she is married to 'Bigg Boss' and that his child is growing in her womb was not very much liked by the netizens. She received backlash for the same.

Anitha Sampath and Snehan shared a good spirit of sportsmanship. In the village task, she acted as Snehan’s wife. Again, she got paired with Snehan during the couples task. Together, they were seen as more competitive and strong.

During a lunch break, the housemates were asked to come inside the Bigg Boss house, and nobody was asked to be in the garden area. Anitha Sampath insisted that she would not be leaving the garden area until Bigg Boss asked her to go inside the house. But in Anitha Sampath’s instance, it made the preparation for the next task delayed. Bigg Boss ordered Anitha Sampath and the Snehan pair to give away eight gold coins from their pile to other teams as a penalty. When Snehan confronted him, Bigg Boss slammed, "Everything cannot be taken as a joke."
