Bigg Boss Ultimate: From Sharath Kumar to Simbu, here's a list of celebs rumoured to replace former host Kamal Haasan

Recently, Kamal Haasan announced that he was quitting Bigg Boss Ultimate to resume the shooting of his upcoming movies, Vikram and Indian 2. As Bigg Boss Ultimate has only completed its 22nd day, fans and followers are keen to know who will be hosting the show in the upcoming weeks. The show's makers are expected to reveal the new host soon.

Here’s the rumoured list of celebs who are expected to step into the shoes of Kamal Haasan.

Actor and politician Sharath Kumar is a long-time friend of host Kamal Haasan, and their friendship has also extended into their political coalition recently. He was also seen in the final week of Bigg Boss Tamil 5 interacting with the housemates. He introduced the money task, where Ciby took the cash prize of Rs. 15 lakhs and left the BB house. So, chances are high that Sharath Kumar might be hosting the show in the upcoming weeks.

Ramya Krishnan is not new when it comes to hosting Bigg Boss shows. She had already hosted many Bigg Boss episodes in Tamil and Telugu. In Bigg Boss Tamil 5, when Kamal Haasan was tested COVID-19 positive, she hosted the show. If she is chosen to host the show, fans can expect interesting drama between Vanitha and Ramya Krishnan, as they already had a clash during the shoot of Bigg Boss Kondattam, which ended in Vanitha quitting the show.

Actor Prakash Raj was already seen hosting ‘Neengalum Vellalam oru Kodi’ and the episode in which Kamal and actress Gautami Tadimalla participated became an instant hit. Being a colleague and ally of Kamal Haasan for a long time, Prakash Raj is also rumoured to replace Kamal.

Season 3 of Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi was hosted by Aravind Swamy. Earlier, it had been said that his name was also on the list of hosts considered for hosting the debut season of Bigg Boss Tamil, but later the show makers opted for Kamal Haasan.

Rumours are rife that actor Simbhu will be replacing Kamal in the upcoming weekend episode. Despite the rumors, neither the actor nor the show's producers have issued any official statement on the show so far. A few of the fans on the internet also argue that Simbhu might not be the obvious choice due to his family's intimacy with Vanitha Vijayakumar.
