Crazy Mohan

Eminent actor and playwright Mohan Rangachari, popularly known as Crazy Mohan (67) passed away on June 10. He was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition due to cardiac arrest where he breathed his last.

Celebrities like Kamal Haasan, actor Siddarth and others offered their condolences. Mohan’s association with Kamal Haasan is popular.

Rajashekar

Television actor Rajashekar (61) of Saravanan Meenatchi serial fame reportedly passed away in Chennai on September 8, due to prolonged illness. According to the reports, Rajashekar was suffering from health issues from quite some time and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Rajashekar’s death was deeply mourned by the film and small screen fraternities.

Bala Singh

Bala Singh (67), one of the most versatile actors of the Tamil entertainment industry, died on November 27 in Chennai. As per the reports, Bala was reportedly suffering from respiratory ailments and high fever prior to his death.

Bala Singh was very popular for his realistic, subtle and intense performances. He made his small screen debut with the serial Soolam in 2002. Bala was last seen in the 2016 serial Aathira as ‘Rajarajan’.

Mano

Tamil actor Mano (37) reportedly died in a car accident on Diwali (October 28). According to reports, Mano and his wife Liviya were travelling in a car when the vehicle lost control and rammed into a centre median.

Mano was a popular mimicry artist. He was also known for his memorable performances on reality TV shows.

Sasikumar

Television actor Sasikumar (43), a resident of Valasaravakkam, reportedly committed suicide on October 23 near Jolarpet railway station.

Reports suggest that, Sasikumar informed his wife that he was travelling to Bengaluru. But, he reached Jolarpet railway station and committed suicide there.
