Chithra and Kavin shared screen space in their popular show Saravanan Meenatchi season 2. While Kavin was seen as Vettaiyan, Chithra played the role of Kalaiyarasi, the former’s close friend in the show. Saravanan Meenatchi 2 aired from October 21, 2013 to July 15, 2016, and Kavin gained popularity with his performance in the show.
