Gayathri Reddy shared that her dad left them when she was 10 years old. They didn't know about his whereabouts for over 15 years. Her mom wasn’t working at that time. Since there was no other source of income, she started modelling. She had to face ill remarks for wearing short dresses while working as a model. Gayathri sacrificed her dreams of studying overseas to save money for the family. She takes care of her brother like her son. He had an emotional moment while speaking about his mom whom he has lost. She passed away the next day she was admitted to the hospital.
