The story of Uyire is all about the character Pavithra (played by Manishajith), an innocent girl who falls in love. She transforms into a bold woman when unavoidable circumstances are thrust upon her. The struggles faced by Pavithra to save her unborn child forms the crux of the story.
To curb the spread of COVID-19, Tamil Nadu government has imposed a
lockdown
in 4 districts of Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu and Kanchipuram from June 19 due to which TV shootings and schedules of airing fresh episodes are affected. Amid the lockdown, fresh episodes Uyire are expected to entertain fans.
