TV actress Thamarai Selvi lost her father; opens up on the hardships he faced as a single dad

Thamarai Selvi, recently lost her father. He was suffering from health issues for quite some time, according to reports. The actress, who also took part in 'Bigg Boss Tamil', shared a note remembering him who brought her up as a single father. He passed away three days ago after suffering from health problems for the past one year.

Thamarai Selvi has shared pictures of her father and opened up on the hardships the latter had faced.
The actress shared the picture on her Instagram and she wrote, “ My dad RIP dad #daddy #rip #ripdad”

On the career front, Thamarai Selvi is a stage artist (Nadaga Kalaingar). She also participates as a contestant in Bigg Boss Tamil season 5. In 2020 Thamarai also participate in the OTT vision of Bigg Boss Ultimate which was hosted by popular Tamil actor Simbu. The actress acted in the popular daily soap Bharathi Kannamma. Later Thamarai joins the cooking reality show Cook With Comali. She is also known for her folk songs.
